Progress Posted on September 15th, 2013

Things have been slow the past year, the game has gone through numerous revisions and rewrites, but, progress is being made.

Development started with my own D3D based engine, which would have limited the release of the game to Windows and Xbox. This was deemed not enough by myself and resulted to a switch to a fully cross-platform existing engine and development continued along that road for quite some time. The problem with using an existing engine is do to the unique things I'd like to do with this game that need to be hard coded and is quite different from your everyday FPS or RPG which most engines are built for.

The design of the game has therefore taken yet another set-back with the creation of a cross-platform OpenGL based engine which is now in development. Things should go quickly though due to a large number of assets already being finished and will not require recreation.

I'll be sure to keep you all more in the loop from this day forward.

Tranquil In-Game

After chipping away at the code for this every time I had 5 minutes to spare from other projects over the past week, I've implemented a system for you guys to give your feedback right here on the site!

I look forward to reading what everyone has to say. I've also added another screenshot from project Tranquil to this post as a bit of a teaser.
